Comments: If you haven't tried or are skeptical of the F-1 I can tell you after playing for 30 years this pick is like no other. It becomes part of your finger, after a while you don't even think about the "pick" it becomes so natural. If your a serious player your missing out on an outstanding product. BTW: It will make you play better not thinking about the pick, the design is ingenious! One purchase will outlast the waste on buying and buying picks.

Comments: I am left handed but play right handed. The F1 is the only
pick i can play with. It's beauty is that it allows you to keep your
hand and wrist loose.

Comments: I absolutly love these picks. Since I discovered them, (six
or seven years ago) I've used nothing else. I would get hand cramps all
the time with regular picks. Since I started using these, I no longer
get cramps in my hands. I also find that my picking has improved since
I started using these picks. I am much more accurate and find that I
can pick with a precision that would have amazed me just a few years
ago. These picks also seem to last forever. I don't mind paying a
little more for these picks because they are worth every penny. I mean,
think about it, a PRS cost more the a Squire, but there is a reason for
that. An F-1 cost a bit more then a Fender pick, but it is such a
superior pick that it is worth it.

Comments: I understand that pick choices are very personal, and what
works for one musician may not work for another, but as far as i'm
concerned, the F1 is a d@mn fine pick. It sounds great, feels entirely
comfortable under the fingers, and can be held with the softest touch,
without spinning out of position or falling. And it can be easily
stored when you're not playing, by hanging it from one of the strings,
so you won't lose it. Park a spare on the peghead, and you're set! I
love it. My favourite is the black, heavy. I play acoustic mandolin.

Comments: Yes they seem to be more positive and for me friendly.
I was originally right handed but crushed my left hand in a works
accident 9 years ago.I traded in my right handed guitar bought a couple
of left handed guitars, a Fender Strat and an accoustic Maton, and
started learning again after a 9 year layoff.
I have problems holding a pick between my index finger (which is fused solid and an inch shorter than my right hand) and second finger, so I use the purple Surfrocker for chords and would like the heavier
versions for picking, as my left hand now gets tired very quickly.
I wasn't all that good right handed, but still enjoy the challenge of
changing hands.Your pick system helps a lot and I don't drop the pick
anymore.

I must say... These picks are great! I sure will let my
fellow players here in Norway in on the news.

Comments: Awesome pick, I havn't been playing very long but my
problem was I couldn't relax my strumming hand because everytime I did the pick would turn or fall out and I just couldn't control it. The F1
changed that for me after a few minutes of using this pick my strumming sounded better and my picking was much more accurate. I can't believe what a difference this simple design made in my playing. Thank You Big Rock!

Comments: Great Product! My guitar lessons will mention it.

Comments: i love these picks!!! i'm writing most of my new cd using their picks- nothing beats them!!

Tyler Roberts - February 18, 2009

Comments: I was first introduced to F1 picks a while back by my
guitarist when recording my album. Ever since i have not looked back.
It is the first time a pick has been a crucial part of my kit and has
improved my sound and playing. With the rapid evolution of musical
equipment picks have been left behind, however finally a pick has
evolved too, so much more in fact that it makes you play better and now there's no going back. Engineering is the only company that have
achieved this. If your using a great guitar, great amp and great
strings don't let yourself down with an old pick, get the most from
your guitar and improve your accuracy, sound definition and level of
play with a F1 pick.

Comments: Tried the introductory kit and fell in love the X-1.
Increased speed and accuracy. Truly innovative and incredible.

Comments: it's odd to think that so many things about the guitar are
so needlessly klutzy. after hundreds of years and countless players,
one would think that the instrument would by now have evolved into a
slinky and easy to use instrument. weirdly enough, the opposite seems
to be the case. a perfect example of this is the guitar pick. this is a
device so common that it's design is taken for granted, either because
it's deemed to be perfect or, more likely, because it's good enough to
get the job done. for this reason the f-1 is a real revalation; it
takes a simple problem encountered by guitar players everywhere and
solves it elegantly. no more flying picks and sore fingers. the shape
of the pick makes it easy to hold allowing for excellent comfort,
control, and aim. for a beginning guitarist there is no better
investment as it eliminates the frustrations engendered by other more
squirrely designs. the surf pick is even better, making tremolo style
picking a thrill and not a drill. a real problem with this style of
picking is that the short sharp strokes needed for it are not easy to
produce with most picks. if the pick is too light, it will be easy to
get the required pick velocity but the pick will be noisy and the tone
thin and light. if the pick is too heavy, it becomes harder to pick
quickly and the tone becomes dark and muddy. the surf pick solves this
by being light enough for speed and strong enough for power. and, of
course, the shape makes it easy to hold, eliminating much of the pain
and fatigue associated with extended jams. all in all, i find that
these picks are worth the price and i highly recommend them. now if i
just find them in retail stores...

Comments: The f-1 totally solved my "Moving pick problem"It has taken me up a few steps in my quest to be a good guitar player.
I find picking and strumming much easier now that I solved the "moving pick problem"
Thanks

Comments: These picks are HOT! Strumming around with the FX-2 double pick, I experienced a sound I had never heard before. It almost felt like two guitars were playing at once. This new sound was so inspiring that within a half hour I had written a new song, words and music. You must check out these picks and see for yourself. Not only do they produce unbelievable sounds, but they are also incredibly comfortable. I tried picking up my old picks and found them quite tedious. For extreme comfort and extreme sound, check out F1 Picks.

Comments: Cheers for the samples. The picks are great. Everyone who
has tried them has liked the feel and control of them. They have made
their way back from the States to Scotland with me, where they are
being well received. My pupils at camp enjoyed trying them, and I have have enjoyed pplaying everything from folk to rock to jazz
with them. Cheers, Anna

Comments: I have been playing guitar for almost two years now and
still have not made peace with my pick. It spins on me while I am
playing! (Or at least it used to.) My instructor gave me an f1 pick and
my problems have been solved! From Beatles to Bluegrass I'm good to go and now I don't have to stop playing to readjust my pick. Thanks f1!

Jim Kuhn - January 3, 2009

Comments: I've been playing bass for over 15 years. I take breaks to
eat and go to the bathroom but for the most part non-stop. Until the F1
came along I have refused to even consider using a pick in lieu of my
masterful digits. Now I can't put it down! The F1 is so comfortable
it's like an extension of my fingers. It never shifts on me or falls
out of my grip. F1 Rules! Thanks Allen!

Comments: I have been using the F-1 picks for about 3 years now!!. I
LOVE THEM. I only use them, and really never had a pick that I loved
before these. I stocked up on them from a few local music stores. They
were in the DISCOUNT BIN, because the other players didnt know what they were missing !! LUCKY for ME, TOO BAD for them. Now I have a stock of at least 60 for myself hehehe...

Buck Childress - December 22, 2008

Comments: I play a lot of instrumental surf rock, jazz and blues
requiring accurate execution of 8th and 16th note triplets, rapid
double-picking and occasional 32nd note bursts. The X-1 with the .046
single pick is a flawless performer. It's easy to control dynamics at
any speed, on any string. Intricate passages are a breeze, again with
total dynamic control. The pick stays put at all speeds and dynamic levels. It doesn't move around in your fingers, nor does it require a hand cramping vise-like hold to maintain your grip and control.
Bottom line... It's a winner. It works and works right. I will
recommend this pick to my students and other guitarists hoping to
increase their levels of technique and performance.

Carolyn Iida - December 21,2008

Comments: I'm sold on the X-1 system. This should be standard for all
picks. I could never "get a grip" on my pick 'til now. Thank you for
bringing such a great idea to life.

Jeff Brown - December 17, 2008
New York, NY
Comments: Using them ust over a year. It has given me more control
with both rythym & lead parts (I'm still a beginner player). They seem
to last forever but l tend to lose them on a regular basis

Comments: I've gotta tip my hat to those who are making them for
producing an innovative product that will make playing easier and
better for a lot of people.

Fred Cook - December 6, 2008

I actually hold my pick in very much this position. I passed the F-1 to
a friend.
Congrats on the first real upgrade to the flat pick!

Rory - November 27, 2008
Phoenix, AZ
Comments: There has a been a dramatic change in the way I play since
I started using the f-1 picks about a year ago. But, when I felt the x-
1 and held it, letting it float between my fingers, I couldn't help but
not play my guitar. I have seen changes for the better in my playing
style, because, now, I don't have to worry about dropping the pick, and
I can think about other things, like chord movement and strumming.

Hugh Ochoa - November 23, 2008
Saugerties, NY
Comments: I dig the F-1. It's all I use. Before, holding on to a pick
was like trying to hold on to a greased pig. It took a little time to
get used to but when I finally did, it help my playing. It stayed in
place and gave me a bit more attack. Keep up the innovative work. I am still trying out the Fx3!

Michael Amadio - November 16, 2008

I didn't realise I was holding the pick wrong till I tried
your sample pack and wow! what a difference. I've noticed in the past few evenings a major sound quality coming from my picking hand just by holding your pick the way it's designed to be held. I'll be a customer for now on!

Jim - November 9, 2008
New Jersey
Comments: Holy Smokes! I wasn't aware how far my right hand technique had drifted until I used one of the F-1's! It took me a little bit to get the "hang" of holding a pick correctly again, but now that I have,
my speed and accuracy have increased dramatically. Thanks, real nice
product!

Tim Barkley - October 30, 2008
Greensboro, NC
Comments: I suffered a repetitive motion injury to my hand and
consequently had trouble gripping a flat pick. The F-1 and X-1 have
helped tremendously in regaining my control for Bluegrass flatpicking.

Mark Tickler - October 20, 2009
Beautiful, Scenic, Queen Creek Arizona
Comments: I bought an assortment of picks a couple of months ago and
have been playing them steadily ever since. The control and tone are
great. I've always been poor at holding my pick properly, but I didn't
think much about it until I started using the X-1, F-1, and P-82. The
P-82 really wakes up my old dreadnought; it gives it almost the
projection of a 12-string. If I want to be heard at the back of the bar
I play the F-1 medium, but I generally use a light nylon pick with an
X-1 on it. Even my mandolin sounds better. I show these to my pickin'
buddies, and at first they smirk, then they ask to try them, then I
have to keep an eye on my picks so they don't get "adopted". This is
the better mousetrap.
